Re-create, don't just throw away! And have some fun doing it!!

During my second year of studying fashion design i had to develop and create an outfit made out of recycling. This exercise was very rewarding and i learnt a great deal more about the concept of avant guard. part of the exercise was to partake in the fashion show.We had to create the models styling and look our self. Here are some pictures of my dress that i created. I was inspired by Alice in wonderland, thus the big hooped skirt with foam tea cups. I used wire, old curtaining, a pair of trousers, an old 80's metric farewell dress, a t shirt, dye and beads to create the dress.
